Working Theory

The INLIGHT split flat panel solar water heater is a closed-loop solar system that includes a pressurized storage tank with a heat exchanger. To transfer heat to the water in the storage tank, a glycol-water antifreeze mixture is circulated between the panel collector and the heat exchanger. These types of solar systems are particularly favored in areas with prolonged subzero temperatures due to their excellent freeze protection capabilities.
